Six String Presents Richard Leigh at The Cary Theater Friday 03/25/16

Hello Live Music and Acoustic Music Fans:

Friday, March 25th, I’ll be presenting Richard Leigh at The Cary Theater. I’ve known Richard for years and he always puts on one of the most entertaining shows we do.

Richard is one of America’s most prolific and successful song writers and an excellent performer himself. A Grammy winner and recent inductee to the Nashville Song Writers Hall of Fame and SESAC Legacy Award winner, Richard wrote hits in 4 decades going back to the 70’s. He has 9 number 1’s and 5 more top 10 singles and won his Grammy for writing “Don’t It Make My Brown Eyes Blue” recorded by Crystal Gayle and which was recognized by ASCAP as one of the 10 most performed songs of the 20th century. Five of his other songs have gone on to win Grammys for other artists.

Some of his other hits are:

Somewhere in my Broken Heart – Bill Dean
The Greatest Man I Never Knew – Reba McEntire
Only Here for a Little While – Billy Dean
Come From the Heart – Kathy Mattea
That’s The Thing About Love – Don Williams
Cold Day in July – Dixie Chicks
And many more…

Richard will appeal to audiences both young and old who enjoy his show because of his stage presence, talent and his story telling of the stories behind the hits. You can read more of his bio on his website at www.richardleigh.com. Advance tickets are available on our website.

I guarantee you will enjoy this show. I hope to see you and your friends there.
