Jason Harrod & Jody Carroll

Jason Harrod is a Brooklyn-based performing songwriter known for generous melodies and poetic, image-rich lyrics. Jason made his mark as one-half of seminal Boston duo Harrod and Funck before venturing out on his own.

Jody Carroll is a blues & Roots performer and songwriter who effortlessly creates bold interpretations of old Blues and American Folk music, his own songs, stories and improvisational musical journeys. He is a Finger style/slide guitar master and amazingly soulful singer blending flavors of old Blues, Folk, Mountain music, Jazz and Rock all together into a true power packed gumbo.

Wyatt Easterling Trio

The Cary Theater 122 East Chatham Street, Cary, NC, United States

After a couple of years there, Blackburn brought him on as head of A&R at Atlantic Records where Wyatt signed some of country music’s biggest names including John Michael Montgomery, Tracy Lawrence, Michael Johnson and Neal McCoy. He also began working as a producer, guiding Montgomery’s debut album Life’s A Dance to an impressive three million copies sold. After Atlantic, Wyatt opened Bugle Publishing Group with partner Miles Copeland, where he signed a number of artists, most notably Keith Urban and Paul Thorn. At Bugle, Wyatt also produced Thorn’s debut album Hammer and Nail and got the future superstar Urban his first record deal.

Based in Chapel Hill, NC, FJ Ventre plays upright and electric bass and sings with several acts from The Triangle area, including Jon Shain, Wyatt Easterling, Wes Collins, the Bennys, Nantahala and others.

Rissi Palmer, who describes her musical style as "Southern Soul," has received widespread media attention in national publications including Ebony, Parade, People, Newsweek, Huffington Post, Rolling Stone, The Wall Street Journal and more.
